Living in London, baking from American cookbooks with my American brain (which still doesn’t really accept the metric system), my recipes are a hodge-podge of weights and measures. Cups vs. grams vs. tablespoons vs. ounces, oy vey.

Therefore I need the internet close to hand when I bake these days, as none of it stays with me for more than 24 hours at a time, and this website is a godsend:
